e above calendar is published in the Calendar of the American Missal which conforms to the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer. [PB] designates 1928 Book of Common Prayer Observances outside of Sunday.

‡ Many Anglicans observe the ancient tradition of fast and abstinence on this day except in Lent Only Fridays, Ash Wednesday and St. Matthias the observance is only to Fast. Sundays are not fast or abstinence days.

Services and Map

All services are held at our chapel located at 44405 Fig Avenue, Lancaster, CA. We are on the corner of Fig Ave. and Avenue J across from the Jane Reynolds Park and the middle school. Click the link below for a map to St. Columba's.

Our usual service schedule is as follows:

Sundays:

8:30 AM - Morning Prayer (1928 Book of Common Prayer)
     9 AM - Adult Education (Adult Sunday School Room)
   10 AM - Sung Mass (Anglican Missal) followed by coffee hour
   12 PM - Confirmation Class (Chapel)
                First Communion Class (Parish Office)
                Children's Sunday School (Children's Room)

Wednesdays:

11:30 AM - Morning Prayer (1928 Book of Common Prayer)
Noon - Holy Communion (Anglican Missal)

Holy days and special services as announced. Confessions by appointment. Please check this site often or call the parish office at (661) 723-5111 for changes in schedule.

Parking Information:

There is a small car park attached to the parish grounds with handicap parking in the front. The chapel is located through the gate at the back of the car park and we have handicap access ramps to all areas of the facility. Additional or over flow parking can be found on Fig Ave. next to the Jane Reynolds Park. We ask visitors and members not to park in front of our residential neighbours if possible.
